Actress Maggie Q is starring in Tian Zhuangzhuang's epic drama “The Warrior And The Wolf,” according to Screen Daily.
Apparently, she stars as a tribal woman who encounters a warrior (Joe Odagiri) seeking shelter from a severe blizzard after his army is trapped in a village.
"Her presence certainly brought gravity and energy to the war epic,” Tian told Screen Daily. He adapted “Warrior” from a short novel by Inoue Yasushi.
Maggie Q’s credits include “Mission: Impossible III” and “Live Free or Die Hard.” She will next appear in “New York, I Love You.”
As for Tian, he is known for directing films such as “The Blue Kite” and “The Go Master.”
Nearly Nude Maggie Q Says, 'Spice Up Your Life—Go Vegetarian'
Fresh off her roles in Live Free or Die Hard and Mission: Impossible III (alongside Tom Cruise), rising star Maggie Q can only be described as hot. So it's fitting that for her latest "role," Maggie posed nearly nude in a bed of crimson chili peppers to spread the word that going vegetarian is the best way to "spice up your life" as well as help animals, your health, and the environment.
A vegetarian for many years, Maggie says that giving meat the boot is one of the most rewarding decisions she has ever made. "I feel better, I have more energy on and off the set, and I have the satisfaction of knowing that I'm doing something to help stop animal suffering." As Maggie knows, factory-farmed animals are confined to dark, filthy warehouses and are deprived of everything that is natural and important to them. They routinely undergo debeaking, tail-docking, and castration—all without any pain relief. In 2006 alone, more than 11 billion cows, pigs, ducks, geese, buffaloes, rabbits, and chickens were slaughtered in China.
Animal suffering definitely isn't hot, but Maggie is living proof that vegetarians are! Going vegetarian is also better for your health—eating meat and other animal products has been conclusively linked to heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and several types of cancer. But health benefits aside, we don't know who wouldn't want to eat their veggies after seeing Maggie's sexy ads!

The story depicts an alternate history, following the events that unfolded in the Three Kingdoms era through the life of the legendary Shu general Zhao Zilong. He began his military career as a soldier in warlord Liu Bei's army. Zhao Zilong once displayed his fine spear skills to Liu Bei in a small face-off with officers Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. This impressed Liu Bei, and he decided to promote Zhao Zilong to the rank of a general. Zhao Zilong was bestowed with the 'All Piercing Spear'.
Zhao Zilong scored his first victory in battle by outwitting Cao Cao at the Battle of Changban. He managed to rescue Liu Bei's son, A Dou from the clutches of the forces of Cao Cao by fighting them single-handedly. Cao Cao's life was put in great peril and he also lost his personal weapon to Zhao Zilong. Cao Ying, who had witnessed Zhao Zilong's acts, swore to help her grandfather regain his lost pride by capturing him alive.
